Following breakfast, we’ll visit Nyakasura Hill, home to the mythical footprint of the Tooro warrior-giant Bukuku. You’ll learn local legends passed down through oral tradition, giving deeper meaning to the land and people.
Next, we’ll head out on a scenic drive through the crater lake region—a lush landscape dotted with sparkling volcanic lakes. A guided walk will lead us to panoramic viewpoints and a stop at a nearby tea estate.
After lunch, you’ll enjoy a cultural performance of traditional Batooro music, dance, and drumming.
You can also join a hands-on cooking or craft session with a local women’s group. As the sun sets, dinner will be served back at your lodge, followed by a relaxed evening by the fire.
