On Day 2, We begin with an early morning game drive, the best time for wildlife viewing as animals are most active in the cooler temperatures. This is an excellent opportunity to spot predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas, alongside grazing herds of antelopes and buffaloes. We will drive to the Ishasha sector, renowned for its unique tree-climbing lions, often found lounging in the branches of fig and acacia trees. This rare sight is a highlight of the park and perfect for photography.
After enjoying lunch, we’ll embark on an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. During the cruise, you'll see hippos in the water, crocodiles along the shores, and herds of elephants and buffaloes cooling off. The channel is also a birdwatcher's paradise, featuring hundreds of species, including pelicans and African fish eagles. Later in the evening, relax and have dinner at your lodge.
