Your safari adventure begins in Kigali, Rwanda’s vibrant and bustling capital. At 8:00 AM, embark on a guided city tour exploring key landmarks, including the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a poignant tribute to Rwanda's resilience and unity. If time allows, you may also visit the Kandt House Museum, which offers insights into the region’s rich history and culture.

Enjoy a delightful lunch at a local restaurant before departing in the afternoon for the scenic 5-7hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. The journey takes you through Rwanda’s picturesque terraced hills and Uganda’s rolling countryside. En route, you’ll pass through local villages and witness the vibrant daily life of the communities. Arrive at your lodge in Bwindi in the evening, where you’ll enjoy dinner and relax amidst the tranquility of the forested landscapes.

After an early breakfast, we will head to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers at 7:30am. At 8:00 AM, set off on a gorilla trekking adventure, an unparalleled experience in the dense and mystical forests of Bwindi. The trek lasts 4-6 hours depending on the gorilla family’s location.

Once you locate the gorillas, you’ll spend an extraordinary hour observing their behavior, from playful interactions to nurturing moments within their family. Savor a packed picnic lunch in the forest before trekking back to meet your driver.

For those who wish to explore further, optional afternoon activities include a community walk to meet traditional healers, visit banana breweries, or interact with the Batwa pygmies, who share their fascinating stories of life as forest dwellers.

End the day with dinner and relaxation at your lodge.

Depart Bwindi at 7:30 AM for a 6-7 hour drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. As you journey through the countryside, you’ll pass tea plantations, scenic valleys, and traditional homesteads.

Arrive at your lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park for lunch and a brief rest. At 3:30 PM, embark on an afternoon game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, a prime area for wildlife viewing. Keep your eyes open for elephants, buffaloes, and a variety of antelopes, as well as predators such as lions and leopards. The game drive concludes in the evening, after which you’ll return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

The day begins with an early morning game drive at 6:00 AM, exploring the park during the peak hours of wildlife activity. With a packed breakfast in hand, you’ll witness herds of animals grazing, predators on the hunt, and vibrant birdlife.

Return to the lodge for an early lunch  before heading out for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This waterway, which links Lake Edward and Lake George, offers one of Africa’s most concentrated wildlife experiences. On this 2-hour cruise, marvel at hippos, crocodiles, and a myriad of birds, along with elephants and buffaloes cooling off along the shores. In the evening, return to your lodge for a relaxing evening and dinner.

Enjoy breakfast at 7:00 AM before departing for Kibale National Park, a 3-hour drive through Uganda’s stunning tea plantations and lush tropical landscapes. Arrive at your lodge,  check in and enjoy an early lunch.

At 1:30 PM, embark on a guided chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale Forest. Renowned for having the highest density of primates in Africa, Kibale offers sightings of chimpanzees, red colobus monkeys, mangabeys, and more. The trek lasts 2-4 hours, with an hour spent observing the fascinating behavior of chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Afterward, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Depart Kibale after breakfast at 7:30 AM for a 4-hour drive to Lake Mburo National Park, arriving in the afternoon. After lunch at your lodge, prepare for an evening nature walk, a unique opportunity to explore the park on foot.

Accompanied by an experienced ranger, this 1-2 hour walk offers close encounters with zebras, impalas, elands, and various bird species in their natural habitats. You’ll also enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Mburo and the surrounding landscapes.

Return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation under the stars.

Start your day with a morning game drive at 6:30 AM, traversing Lake Mburo’s scenic plains in search of giraffes, warthogs, and herds of antelope. Visit the serene Lake Mburo, home to an array of waterbirds, before departing the park.

Enjoy lunch en route in Mbarara and continue on a 3-hour drive to Lake Bunyonyi, known for its picturesque beauty and as one of Africa’s deepest lakes. Arrive by late afternoon to relax at your lodge, soaking in the tranquil atmosphere before dinner.

After breakfast at 7:30 AM, we will set off for a morning boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi. Discover the lake’s 29 islands, each with unique stories, including Akampene Island (Punishment Island) and others that showcase vibrant local life and scenic views.

Following an early lunch at we will drive and depart for Kigali, a scenic 5-hour drive through Uganda and Rwanda’s rolling highlands.

Arrive in Kigali in the early evening where you may explore craft markets or relax before heading to Kigali International Airport for your evening departure.
